Leland Fly Fishing Outfitters is a full-service fly shop that has provided anglers in the San Francisco Bay Area with top quality gear and education since 1985. As we continue to serve Bay Area anglers from our bricks and mortar shop, the Internet has given us the chance to extend our service to fly anglers across the planet, and that's an opportunity and privilege we're excited to have!

Some of us have been fly fishing for decades; some of us are just getting started. One thing we all have in common
is our love for the sport. We like to think that our employee profiles are similar to those of our customers. We fish at home and we fish all over the world. We know how important fly fishing can be, and we are ready and excited to assist our customers in every way.

From the most basic techniques to fly fishing conditions near and far, if you ever have a question about fly fishing, please don't hesitate to ask. Of the services Leland FFO provides, among the most enjoyable for us are the classes and clinics we teach. From your first cast, to breaking 70 feet, to learning the art of traditional or Skagit-style Spey casting, we have a
casting class for every one. We also offer fly tying instruction and weekend fly fishing clinics. The clinics are terrific introductions to specific types of rivers and techniques. For anglers looking to start off right, tune up their casting for a trip, or learn to fish for steelhead, our classes and clinics are a great way to take years off the learning curve.
At Leland, we also give back to our California fishing community. We happily support Cal-Trout, a dynamic and thoughtful local conservation group that has done great things for our California fisheries.
